What other conditions benefit from EECP?
EECP is not just an effective therapy for angina. Virtually any condition in which poor circulation is a
contributing factor can benefit from EECP. Some of the other conditions are as follows:
- Chronic Fatigue
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Memory Disorder
- Diabetic Neuropathy
- High Blood Pressure
- Peripheral Vascular Disease
- Erectile Dysfunction
- Congestive Heart Failure
- Vision Problems
Angina is often described as discomfort in the chest, jaw, shoulder, back, or arm. These symptoms of
angina are most commonly caused by ischemic or narrowed arteries leading to a decreased blood and oxygen
supply to areas of the heart.
Congestive Heart failure is a disorder where the heart loses its ability to pump blood efficiently.
The result is that the body doesn’t get as much oxygen and nutrients as it needs, leading to problems
like fatigue and shortness of breath. Heart failure is almost always a chronic, long-term condition that
is managed with medications and lifestyle changes. (Although it can sometimes develop suddenly.) The most
common causes for heart failure are hypertension and coronary artery disease.
It is our mission to give patients who suffer from either of these conditions an opportunity to once
again live their lives to the fullest. We are committed to helping patients find the relief they are
looking for to combat their angina and congestive heart failure. EECP treatment has been clinically
proven to decrease, and in many cases eliminate symptoms of angina. This allows for the possibility
for a much more active and improved quality of life.
