And DDNMRC for Enhanced External Counterpulsation ie.EECP. I was evaluated for EECP treatment under your deep care taken up for 35 days continuously. Dear Doctor,
I was a chronic cardiac patient with 3 blocks in my heart before I came to Medlinks Cardio care. In 2004, I was admitted in govt. hospital for severe heart attack. They referred to me an immediate heart surgery. But the cost of the surgery was unaffordable to me. So I continued to take medicines. But day by day my health was becoming more verse. At that time I was not able to walk even short distances, intense Heart pain, sleeplessness and physical unhealthiness. I am Vijayan, a heart patient when I approached Medlinks Cardio care for EECP Therapy. I feel breathing difficulties and severe heart pain when walking; I can't even walk short distances or work continuously. Dr. Ajith Joy of Medlinks Cardio care suggested EECP Therapy to me. After EECP Therapy I am free from all types of difficulties that I faced before. Now I can work and walk much better than before like a normal man. Dear Doctor,
"I did EECP to reduce the Risk for my Bypass Surgery – and it worked, many thanks God almighty, EECP & my Surgeon – I am still alive today" I had a severe heart attack in the month of 10-06-2006 after which my heart function had comedown to 32% where the doctors treating me had told me there was considerable damage to my heart muscle and I required surgery. Well I was advised "Bypass Surgery" and was referred for Cardiac Nuclear Scan, which showed almost 50% plus of the front wall of my heart muscle was severely damaged. I was told that the surgical risk could be very high, but since my age was this I had no choice but to undergo this procedure. I could not walk more than 50 meters without stopping, nor could I climb stairs with out breathlessness. I had stopped working and was pretty much resting awaiting my surgery and my fate. It is at this time that I heard of EECP, and that it could decrease my risk for surgery. I discussed with my doctor and he said " its only going to help and since it is available and accessible, there is no harm in trying". Surprisingly my Function improved to 42% post EECP treatment, I felt much better and confident and most of my symptoms had gone off. I underwent surgery with no complications at all and am doing fine today. I would suggest people who have been told that their Bypass Surgery could be of a very high risk can safely undergo this procedure. It give a lot of confidence, comfort, and your symptoms practically go off and it will definitely decrease the risk for your surgery. I did my surgery in 02-03-2007 and my post 6 months Check up showed that my heart function was doing good EF was 40% and I don't feel any symptoms.
